Bangladesh launches integrated township PPP project

The Government of Bangladesh (GoB), through National Housing Authority (NHA), has launched a request for qualifications to develop the Mirpur Integrated Township Development (MITD) PPP project.

NHA is an entity of the GoB established with the objective of developing affordable housing infrastructure in the country. NHA envisages developing an integrated township project on about 5 acres of NHA owned land at Mirpur through a PPP project.

The preferred bidder will be responsible for design, build, financing, operations and maintenance (DBFOM) of the integrated housing complex, based on terms and conditions to be set out in the request for proposal (RFP) document.

A pre-application meeting will be held at NHA's office on 12 July 2015. Interested parties must submit their qualification documents on or before 10 August 2015. 

Mirpur is a thana of Dhaka city, Bangladesh. It has a total area of 58.66 km2 and is situated in the north-east of Dhaka city. Mirpur has a population of about  one million inhabitants.
