Iarnród Éireann has launched a tender process to hire consultants to develop concession agreements for the Rosslare Europort located in County Wexford, Ireland.

Iarnród Éireann is a subsidiary company of Córas Iompair Éireann which is the publicly owned transport company of Ireland. At Rosslare, Iarnród Éireann is the infrastructure provider and operator, providing port facilities and related services, including stevedoring, to shipping lines.

The company is seeking applications from interested parties for the provision of expert advisory services in the area of the development of concession agreements for Port Operations Management including maintenance and potential development opportunities.

The advisor will assist IE in the progression of the concession agreement through the following key stages of:

  • development of an outline commercial / concession structure via undertaking market consultation and evaluation of its commercial viability;
  • assist in the progression of the concession agreement to contract award subject to the outcome of stage

Interested parties must submit their proposals on or before 26 June 2015.

Rosslare Europort is a modern seaport located at Rosslare Harbour in County Wexford, Ireland, near the southeastern-most point of Ireland, handling passenger and freight ferries to and from Wales and France.
