EBRD seeks consultants for Belgrade parking PPP project

The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) has launched a tender process to hire consultants to prepare a parking PPP project in Belgrade, Serbia.

The contract will involve construction of one or several underground parking garages at the locations envisaged by the city Parking Plan.

The Bank has agreed to mobilise technical cooperation grant funds to provide support to the city in implementing the PPP project.

The objective of the assignment is to provide the city of Belgrade with an underground garage PPP tender document approved by the Republic of Serbia PPP Commission, and to assist with the tender such that the city is able to attract a good level of competition to the PPP tender, before awarding the contract to a private partner who would finance, build, operate and transfer the new facilities.

The assignment is expected to start in early 2015 and has an estimated overall duration of 18 months.

The maximum cost estimate available for the assignment is €350,000. It is expected to be financed through the EBRD Shareholder Special Fund.

Interested firms or group of firms must submit their expressions of interest (EOIs) on or before 21 November 2014. One original and two copies of the EOI, in English and Serbian, shall be submitted.
