The Municipality of Guanambi, located in the State of Bahia, has started the public consultation for a public lighting PPP project.

The project involves development, modernization, expansion, energy efficiency, operation and maintenance of lighting services on public roads of the city.

The concession contract will have a duration of 35 years with an initial estimated budget of BRL38.6 million (US$12 million).

The project was structured via Expression of Interest (EOI) procedure by Brasiluz Eletrificação e Eletrônica Ltda. Ltd. 

The deadline for sending questions and comments closes on 20 October.

Guanambi is a municipality with an area of 1,272.367 km², and with 84,645 inhabitants making it the 20th most populous municipality of Bahia.
