Indonesia re-launches tender for Tanah Ampo Cruise terminal The Indonesian Ministry of Transportation intends to prequalify eligible firms for a project to design, build, operate and transfer a cruise terminal facility at Tanah Ampo Cruise Terminal on Bali's Eastern coast.

A prequalification meeting with the GCA, will be held at 10.00 AM, on 3 June 2013. All prospective Applicants are invited to attend in order to be briefed on the project and the prequalification process.

Submissions of Applications for Prequalification must be received in sealed envelopes, either delivered by hand or by registered mail to the Government Contracting Agency not later than 14.00 PM, on 1 July 2013.

The project has been relaunched due to unknown circumstances.

The project:

The Project comprisesthe following services and works:

  1. The preparation of a detailed design of a cruise terminal facility, including to upgrade and expand the existing port facility in Kabupaten Karangasem, in accordance with modern international standards.
  2. The construction of expansion/upgrade of the existing terminal buildings, as well as a new terminal building if necessary, and the onshore and offshore construction of modern international cruise terminal and relevant services.
  3. The procurement of any fixed and mobile plant and equipment as required to upgrade the standard of operations at the facility.
  4. The operation and maintenance of the terminal and service facilities including the provision of training to the staff of the GCA in all aspects of facility operation and maintenance, and transfer the facility to the GCA once the concession expires.
