Mangaratiba seeks consultants for sewage concession

Mangaratiba, a municipality located in the Brazilian state of Rio de Janeiro, has launched a tender process to hire consultants for a sewage concession.

The project is part of a sanitation plan approved by the city in 2013.

The municipality is seeking consultants to carry out a concession to develop a sewage system. Interested parties must submit their request to participate on or before 21 June 2016.

Mangaratiba has a population of approximately 40,000 inhabitants in an area of 352 km².

In late May, we reported that São Miguel do Iguaçu, a municipality in Brazil, published a bidding process for the concession of the municipality solid waste services on a public private partnership basis.
