NHAI tenders two highway PPP projects. Download RFQs There are two interesting highway projects that have been recently released by the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) under the public private partnership model (PPP)
Four Laning of Solapur (km249+000) - Maharashtra/Karnataka Border (km 348+800) section of NH9 (design length - 100.06km) in the State of Maharashtra to be executed as BOT (Toll) on DBFOT Pattern under NHDP Phase - IV
National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) invites applications for prequalification from applicants interested in design, engineering, construction, development, finance, operation & maintenance of the following project to be executed as BOT (Toll) projects for a pre-agreed concession period:
  • Package No: NHAI/NHDP-IVB/M&G/RFQ/2011/01
  • Section: SolapurMaharashtra/Karnataka section. NH-9
  • Lentgh: 100.00 Km
  • Indicative Total Project Cost (TPC) (Rs. In crores): 923.04 ($210 million)
The scope of the work broadly includes rehabilitation, upgradation and widening of the existing carriageway section to 4-lane with construction of new pavement, rehabilitation of existing pavement, construction of major and minor bridges, service roads, culverts, road intersections, interchanges, drains etc.
RFQ submission duly completed in the prescribed manner must be received not later than 11:00 hrs on 05.08.2011

The National Highways Authority of India is engaged in the development of highways and as part of this endeavor, the Authority has decided to undertake development of  Mahullia to Behragora  Section of NH-33 and 6 in the State of   Jharkhand/West Bengal  (the "Projects") through private participation on Design, Build, Finance, Operate and Transfer (the "DBFOT") basis, and has decided to carry out the bidding process for selection of the bidder to whom the Project may be awarded. Brief particulars of the Project are as follows:
  • Name of the Highway: Four laning of NH-33 from Mahullia to Behragora (Km 277.50 to Km 333.50) and NH-6 from Baharagora to Kharagpur (Km 199.500 to Km 129.600) Section in the States of   Jharkhand/West Bengal through Public Private Partnership on Design, Build, Finance and Transfer ("DBFOT") basis under NHDP-IV
  • Lentgh: 127.1
  • Indicative Total Project Cost (TPC) (Rs. In crores): 940 ($225 million)
Sealed proposals should reach NHAI at the address for communication not later than 11.00 hrs on 
28.07.2011.
