Russia sells 38 % stake in Murmansk airport

Rivoli, a company associated with Novaport, has acquired a 38% stake in Murmansk airport from the government of Russia.

Under the terms of the agreement, Rivoli will pay RUB81.9 million (US$1.22 million) to acquire the 38% stake in the airport.

The transaction has been approved by the Federal Anti-Monopoly Service. The governmental commission on foreign investments control has acted as coordinator of the deal.

Murmansk Airport is the international airport of Murmansk, Russia. It is located near the town of Murmashi in Murmansk's southern suburbs, 24 kilometres outside the city center. Last year, a total of 751,258 passengers used the airport, representing a 12,6 % passenger growth.
