Tender for a police station under PPP in Lithuania launched Vilnius County Police Headquarters announced a tender for development, construction and maintenance of a Police station and Police custody under PPP. This is long-term, 25 years project with capital investment of €8 million.The aim of the project is to build Police station and Police custody with total area of 8,155 square meters. The contract is based on Design-Build-Finance-Operate (DBFO).Deadline for submission of bids is 22nd November 2013. Winner will be selected through dialog negotiations process.

History of PPP projects in Lithuania is not long. On 14 May 2013, the Palanga bypass public-private partnership project in Lithuania reached financial close. The project was among six public-private partnership pilot projects approved by the Lithuanian government in 2009. The Lithuanian Road Administration selected Kauno tiltai and Siauliu plentas to design, build, operate, and finance the Palanga bypass contract, worth €36 million over 25 years.
