World Bank seeks consultants for two PPPs in Kenya

The World Bank Group has recently announced the launching of two Expression of Interest processes (EOIs) seeking consultancy services for the feasibility study of two public-private partnership (PPP) projects, which will be developed in Kenya, in the counties of Nakuru and Muranga.

One of the projects will be developed in Nakuru consisting of an Integrated Solid Waste Management PPP project, while the project to be developed in Muranga consists of a Water Supply PPP project.

For both projects the consultants will prepare a feasibility study consistent with the PPP Act (2013), to a standard that will enable the Governments to establish the technical configuration, commercial attractiveness and bankability of the PPP projects.

The overall objective of the consultancy assignments is to assist both Governments in developing a bankable transaction structure for the proposed projects under a PPP scheme.

The deadline for the submission of the Expression of Interest (EOI) is 3 May 2016 at 11:59:59 PM (Eastern Time-Washington D.C.).
