Bangladesh public firm to advise for Mombasa PPP project

Infrastructure Investment Facilitation Company (IIFC) from Bangladesh has won a consultancy tender to advise Kenya Ferry Services Ltd, under the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure for the Development of Multilevel Terminal at Mombasa through Public Private Partnership.

IIFC is a government consultancy organization of the Economic Relations Division (ERD) at the Ministry of Finance. The company's objective is to promote and facilitate infrastructure projects through Public-Private Partnership (PPP).

According to local sources, Mr. Nazrul Islam, Managing Director, IIFC has signed the contract on behalf of IIFC and will soon be leaving with IIFC experts and consultants for the assignment. Under this assignment, IIFC will conduct detail feasibility study, marketing study, financial projection, commercial analysis, technical analysis and transaction advisory support for the client.
