Mr McClintock has a distinguished track record in both the public and private sectors. He is the current Chairman of NSW Ports, the Committee for Economic Development of Australia (CEDA), I-Med Network and Myer Holdings Limited. He is also a Director of St Vincent’s Health Australia and O’Connell Street Associates.

Mr McClintock’s previous roles have included Chairman of the Thales Group, Medibank Private, the COAG Reform Council, Symbion Health, Affinity Health, Ashton Mining, Plutonic Resources, Intoll Management Limited and the Woolcock Institute of Medical Research. From 2000 to 2003 he served as the Secretary to Cabinet and Head of the Cabinet Policy Unit, reporting directly to then Prime Minister, John Howard OM, AC.

Mr McClintock graduated in Arts and Law from the University of Sydney, is an honorary fellow of the University’s Faculty of Medicine, and is a Life Governor of the Woolcock Institute of Medical Research.

Managing Director and CEO of Broadspectrum, Graeme Hunt, welcomed Mr McClintock’s appointment and paid tribute to Ms Smith-Gander. Mr Hunt said:

“Diane has been an outstanding Chairman during a challenging period for the Company. She oversaw the turnaround of the business and successfully negotiated the acquisition of the Company by Ferrovial earlier this year. We wish her the very best.”

“Paul has an unrivalled track record spanning commercial, government and not-for-profit roles. His unique blend of experience will be a huge asset for Broadspectrum and our parent company, Ferrovial, and we’re delighted to have him on board,” he said.
