Georgia seeks interest for health PPP project

The government of Georgia has issued a pre-qualification questionnaire (PQQ) to shortlist bidder to carry out a health PPP project in the country.

The project will involve the redevelopment and operation, under the UK model of care, the following three major hospitals in Tbilisi: Academician N. Kipshidze Central University Clinic, Universal Medical Centre, and Children's Infectious Diseases Hospital.

The project is titled The Tbilisi Cluster Healthcare PPP Transformation Project and will follow a Build Own Operate (BOO) PPP model. As part of the project requirements and in addition to the above, the consortium is expected to Design, Build and Operate (delivering both Clinical Services & Facility Management) a complimentary Primary Care Network again to UK Standards.

Interested consortia has to demonstrate experience to deliver a fully integrated design, build, equip, finance and operate solution in terms of;

  • Healthcare Design and Hospital & Primary Construction Delivery
  • Healthcare Facilities Management
  • Clinical Operations, including Workforce Transformation and JCI Accreditation for Major International Healthcare Programs delivered across Primary and Secondary/Tertiary Sectors
  • Securing Structured Finance

Interested parties must submit their expression of interest on or before 2 October 2015 while the deadline to submit the PQQ documentation is 9 October.
