Nossaman has published on its blog that LA Metro is hosting an Industry Outreach Workshop on July 9 to accelerate PPP delivery of six highway improvement projects in Los Angeles County known as the Highway Goods Movement Package.  The workshop is being held at Metro's Gateway Building headquarters where there will be a 2-hour presentation in the morning detailing the six projects, followed by one-on-one meetings with Metro representatives.

The projects that LA Metro want to accelerate are the following:

• SR-71 Gap Project, I-10 to Mission Boulevard ($61-80 million)
• SR-71 Gap Project, Mission Boulevard to Rio Rancho Road ($120-150 million)
• Soundwall Package 10 ($26-29 million)
• Soundwall Package 11 ($54-60 million)
