NGE Concessions selected for French road PPP

The Government of Cantal, France, has selected NGE Concessions as preferred bidder for the Nord de Saint-Flour bypass on PPP scheme.

The project  an investment of €28.15 billion (US$30 million) and the concession contract will have a total duration of 20 years.

The purpose of this project is to relieve the transit traffic through Saint Flour while opening up Aurillac and Murat towards the A75 motorway.

This project involves three major phases before the route is available, scheduled for January 2020:

  • Closure of the administrative authorization procedures and deviation of the networks scheduled for February 2018;
  • Earthworks, civil works with 13 works of art, sanitation, pavements and safety equipment scheduled for the summer of 2019;
  • Pavement works and the launch of pre-supply operations planned for the end of 2019.
