Strategic partnership: Africa Finance Corporation - Infrastructure Development Finance Company Limited (IDFC)
The Africa Finance Corporation (AFC) has formalised a strategic partnership with the Infrastructure Development Finance Company Limited (IDFC), through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the AFC and IDFC Capital Limited (IDFC Capital), a wholly owned subsidiary of IDFC.

Through the partnership, AFC and IDFC Capital will collaborate to facilitate entry into Africa by Indian companies seeking to expand internationally through investment in infrastructure, logistics, mining, power and telecommunications.

Established in 2007, the African Finance Corporation (AFC) is a private sector-led investment bank and development finance institution created to help mobilize and channel required capital towards driving Africa's economic development.
Established in 1997, IDFC is India's leading integrated infrastructure finance player providing aids to end infrastructure financing and project implementation services.

By the way, the African Finance Corporation (AFC) releases a quarterly jornal on the African infrastructure called 'African Infrastructure Review'.  InfraPPP Africa brings you the first two editions: Q1 2011 and Q2 2012. They will be added to InfraPPP Reports Africa.
