SUSI Renewable Energy Fund II acquires German wind farm

SUSI Renewable Energy Fund II has purchased the wind farm Obernwohlde, near the City of Lübeck from BayWa r.e. With a capacity of 18,3 MW, the wind park Obernwohlde is the largest wind power plant realised by BayWa r.e. in Germany in 2015.

The wind park, scheduled to be completed by the end of December 2015, will comprise of six Enercon E101 wind turbines with a hub height of 99 meters each. The park will bring a total capacity of 18,3 MW and deliver clean energy for around 10,000 four-person households.

The transaction was closed on December 15th, 2015 and advised by SUSI Partners AG. The technical and commercial management of the plant, as well as the direct marketing of the green energy, will rest with BayWa r.e.
