Banca popolare dell'Emilia Romagna is the parent company of the BPER Group, a company composed of their autonomous territorial banks that are deeply rooted in the various territories to which they belong. It is present in 18 Italian regions and has about 1,300 branches in Italy. The BPER Group was founded in 1992 on the initiative of BPER Banca. The underlying objective is to create a reality in which each Bank can exploit the synergies of a large Group, while maintaining operational autonomy and territorial rooting.
