CADMOS aims to develop long-term skills in computational sciences, HPC and complex systems modeling. The means proposed by CADMOS is the creation of new chairs in the partner institutions, strengthening of synergy, the encouragement of innovative projects, the establishment of appropriate teaching and the provision of HPC computing resources. CADMOS was created under the leadership of the CICS (Lemanic Community of Cultural and Scientific Innovation) and is part of the Swiss HPC strategy: a powerful computer in Manno and 2-3 other regional machines.
