DataVita, founded in 2014, is a Scotland-based provider of data centre, connectivity, cloud and high-performance computing (HPC) services. Headquartered in Scotland’s central belt between Glasgow and Edinburgh, the company operates data centre facilities designed to support critical, high-power and complex workloads, including AI and machine-learning applications. Its services include colocation, managed networks, cloud solutions through its National Cloud brand, and bespoke data centre infrastructure. The company operates facilities including DV1 in Lanarkshire and DV2 in Glasgow, with additional sites in development. Its Lanarkshire facility, DV1, is an 8,000m² purpose-built colocation data centre with Tier III certification for design and construction, while its infrastructure is powered by 100% renewable energy. DataVita also emphasises energy efficiency, security and resilience, with its facilities designed to accommodate demanding workloads and high-density computing requirements.
DataVita is expanding its focus on AI and HPC infrastructure, with its facilities designed to support advanced AI systems, machine learning and high-density computing. The company says its HPC infrastructure can accommodate workloads requiring up to 200kW per rack and supports both air- and water-cooling technologies, including direct-to-chip cooling.
