Company description

Finnfund is a Finnish development finance company that provides long-term risk capital for profitable and sustainable investments in developing countries. Its financial instruments include equity investment, investment loan, midfinance or combinations of these, and in exceptional cases, guarantees. Target companies must work in the private sector or be privatization projects. The firm does not invest in companies involved in production of or trade in weapons and munitions, gambling and equivalent enterprises, production of or trade in alcoholic beverages, tobacco, and illegal drugs.
