FOMILENIO II is a program financed with US $ 277 million donated by the United States government, through the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC), plus a counterpart of US $ 88.2 million contributed by the government of El Salvador , making a total of US $ 365.2 million that will be invested over a period of five years.

The objective of the program is to improve the investment climate in El Salvador for economic growth and poverty reduction.

For FOMILENIO II, dialogue and citizen participation are fundamental, in order to guarantee the successful management of the environmental and social impacts of their projects.
