LähiTapiola is a Finnish banking and insurance financial group that was formed after the decision of the Local Insurance and Tapiola groups to join in 2012. LähiTapiola started operations on January 1, 2013 and serves personnel, entrepreneurial, corporate and institutional clients in life insurance, life insurance and pension insurance, and offers investment and banking services. The regional companies in the Middle East consists of 20 regional mutual insurance companies and in a business area operating in the Helsinki metropolitan area , which is part of the LähiTapiola non-life insurance.
