LGIAsuper has looked after the retirement savings of Queensland local government employees and their spouses for more than 50 years. Since 1965, it has provided trusted and reliable investment, advice and insurance solutions so that it members can achieve a dignified and enjoyable retirement. From 1 July 2011, LGIAsuper (known then as LGsuper) and City Super merged to become one fund for all of local government in Queensland. From 8 February 2016, the combined fund entered a new era and became LGIAsuper. On 30 June 2017, LGIAsuper became an open fund.
