Puente Industrial is a Chilean road-concession company, part of the Aleatica infrastructure group, responsible for the “Puente Industrial” project — a 6.4 km urban viaduct in the Biobío Region, which includes a 2.5 km bridge over the Biobío River connecting San Pedro de la Paz and Hualpén. Backed by a US$250 million investment, the project emphasizes sustainability and local development: about 80% of the construction materials come from the region, and it has been internationally recognized with a logistics and sustainable transport award. The concessionaire also promotes active mobility by integrating a 7.7 km bike path and pedestrian access into the bridge design, and operates a free-flow toll system with interoperable TAG technology. Safety-wise, the project has received a 3-star rating from the International Road Assessment Programme (iRAP), making it one of the safest road infrastructures in Chile.
