Unite Students, the UK's largest provider of purpose-built student accommodation, is headquartered in Bristol at South Quay House, Temple Back, BS1 6FL. Established in 1991 by Nicholas Porter, a former University of the West of England student, the company began as a response to the growing demand for student housing in the city. Over the past three decades, Unite Students has expanded significantly, now operating 173 properties across 27 cities and accommodating over 73,000 students nationwide.
In addition to its national presence, Unite Students maintains a strong commitment to Bristol, with 14 properties in the city, including Blenheim Court, Marketgate, and Phoenix Court. The company continues to invest in the area, exemplified by the recent completion of Campbell House, a £45 million development providing 431 student beds.
