4 Corners Infrastructure announce new team member

4 Corners Infrastructure, a a Bennelong Funds Management boutique, has announced the appointment of Mark Jones to the team.

Joining the team as a Senior Equity Analyst, Mark brings a well rounded and highly experienced skillset, with his most recent role being a buy-side equity analyst in the Australian Equities and Infrastructure teams at Goldman Sachs Infrastructure Partners. In this role, Mark was responsible for coverage of infrastructure, utilities and transport companies. He was also involved in the client relationship side of the business, making regular presentations to key institutional clients and asset consultants. Previously, Mark worked as a Quantitative Developer with UBS in Zurich.

Mark has an MBA from Melbourne Business School, a Masters of Technology from RMIT and a Bachelor of Science from Australian National University.

Michael Morrison, 4 Corners Infrastructure CEO, said he was delighted they had been able to attract such an experienced analyst in the early stages of the growth of their business. Ms Morrison stated:

"We're pleased we've been able to recruit someone of Mark's calibre and experience. Mark's highly focused expertise in the infrastructure sector and broad buy-side experience makes him an ideal addition to our team as we approach the launch of our retail fund next quarter."

4 Corners Infrastructure was launched earlier this year as a joint initiative between its founding team members Michael Morrison, Sarah Shaw and Greg Goodsell and Bennelong Funds Management (Bennelong). The business has a mandate to invest in listed infrastructure companies from around the world, will run a concentrated investment portfolio of 30-60 stocks and plans to launch the 4 Corners Global Infrastructure Fund early in the second half of 2015.
