Marie Le Dorner, ex-Senior Associate at Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ's Structured Finance team, has joined the Allianz Global's infrastructure debt team as an Assistant Vice President.

This new appointment takes the number of investment professionals dedicated to infrastructure debt at AllianzGI to 15. The team was established in 2012.

Based in London, Marie will report to Ralph Eley, Director of Asset Management within AllianzGI's infrastructure debt team.

She will help manage AllianzGI's growing portfolio of infrastructure debt assets, with a special focus on the French market.

According to sources, Ralph Eley, said regarding the appointment:

"As our portfolio of completed transactions continues to expand - by number, sector and geography - it's crucial we expand our team in tandem. The investments we make on behalf of our clients are in long-term projects and we take an equally long-term view when it comes to managing those assets. Marie's appointment underlines our commitment to keeping as keen an eye on managing transactions we've completed for our existing clients, as our pipeline of new deals."
