ANI and the consortium "Infraestructura Vial para Colombia" have signed the Santa Ana - Mocoa - Neiva highway PPP project.
Infraestructura Vial para Colombia consists of the following firms: Controladora de Operaciones de Infraestructura S.A de CV (35 %), Cass Constructores y Cia (20%), Carlos Alberto Solarte Solarte (20 %), Estyma (10%), Latinoamericana de Construcciones (10 %) y ALCA Ingeniería (5 %).
The project involves the development of 22 km of four-lane highway, 32 km of two-lane highway and the upgrade of a 422 km road. It also includes the development of 3 tunnels and 53 bridges and viaducts. The road is expected to reduce travel time between Bogota and Quito by 6 hours from 26 h to 20 h.
The total project investment is estimated at P$1.5 billion (US$482.8 million).
In mid August we reported on the financial closure of three road PPP projects in the country: Girardot-Puerto Salgar, Cartagena - Barranquilla and Pacific Connection highway concession 3. In addition, last week, a total of three teams submitted final bids for the the Sea highway 2 "Autopista al Mar 2", which will improve the connection of the city of Uraba Medellin and the Pacific Coast.
