The Ministry of Health of Burkina Faso with support from the African Development Bank has launched a tender process to hire advisors for a health PPP project.
The selected consultants will have to identify services and opportunities where PPP are possible. They will determine the organizational, economic and financial characteristics to develop the pilot PPP Health in Burkina Faso.
Interested parties must submit their expressions of interest (EoI) on or before 31 July 2015.
Over the last decade, the government of Burkina Faso has undertaken a series of institutional and legislative reforms in an attempt to create a favourable climate for foreign investment.
On June 24, 2013 was promulgated the Law No. 020-2013/AN establishing the legal framework for PPPs in Burkina Faso (PPP Act) by Decree No. 2013-493/PRES, it constituted an essential step in fostering public-private sector collaboration.
