Canadore College seeks DBFO builder for sports facility

The Canadore College of Applied Arts and Technology, Ontario (Canada), has issued a tender process to develop multi-purpose sports facility through a PPP project.

The project will be developed on a design, build, finance and operate (DBFO) basis.

The request for expressions of interest (RFEOI) was issued on 22 July 2014. Interested parties must submit their EOI on or before 25 August 2014.

Canadore College is currently looking for a company to develop a P3 to construct a year round multi-purpose sports facility or dome at Canadore College's Commerce Court Campus located at 60 Commerce Court in North Bay Ontario.

In another sports P3, in early May we reported plans to develop a hockey arena through a PPP project in the south of Ottawa, Canada. The total investment for this project is estimated at CAD$60 million.

PCL Construction announced at the end of May that it had achieved commercial and financial close on the Regina football stadium P3 project agreement with the City of Regina in Canada. The Regina football stadium P3 project includes the design, construction and financing of the facility. The project cost is estimated at CAD$278 million. The project was awarded in March this year.
