Walloon Housing Agency (SWL) has launched a tender process to develop a housing public private partnership (PPP) project in Charleroi, Belgium.

The housing project will involve the design, build and finance of a total of five apartment blocks and 27 single family homes. The selected firm will be also responsible for the marketing actions to sell the developed properties.

The total project investment is estimated to be between €6.5 million (US$6.9 million) and €7.5 million (US$8 million).

Interested parties must submit their request to participate on or before 17 February 2016.

Charleroi is a city and a municipality of Wallonia, located in the province of Hainaut, Belgium. The total population of Charleroi is approximatelly 205,000 inhabitants. The metropolitan area, including the outer commuter zone, covers an area of 1,462 square kilometres with a total population of approximately 525,000 inhabitants.
