Espiritu Santo launches public consultation for water transport PPP project

The Brazilian state of Espirito Santo is planning a new PPP project to develop water transportation facilities in the metropolitan area of Greater Victoria.

The Department of Transportation and Public Works has launched a public consultation process for the proposed PPP project. The line would link Praça do Papa - Centro de Vitória and Argolas - Centro de Vitória - Porto Santana.

The project would be developed on a design, build, finance, operation and maintenance basis. The concession period would be 20 years. The concession value is estimated at R$1,410 million (US$628.5 million).

Interested parties can submit their questions about the project until 9 September 2014.
