An International Finance Institution seeks expressions of interest from suitably qualified consulting firm (consortium of firms possible) to support the structuring, establishment, and fundraising efforts of Africa50, a new infrastructure delivery vehicle in Africa. Africa50 aims at increasing the stock of infrastructure projects (i.e. power, transport, ICT, and water and sanitation), while accelerating the speed by which projects reach Financial Close.

AfDB aims to raise up to USD 500 million for Africa50's project development arm by the first half of 2014.

Assistance and key tasks requested from the consultants are to:

1. Advise on the structure, governance and business process of Africa50;
2. Complete the related legal documentation;
3. Update and finalize investor materials, including the Information Memorandum and the Term Sheet, and
4. Work alongside AfDB to fundraise for Africa50 to ensure that the vehicle begins operations in 2014.

The duration of the assignment is estimated at ten months, from December 1st, 2013 to September 30th, 2014.Expressions of interest must be submitted by email and/or mail no later than 12:00 pm, October 30, 2013 (Tunisia time).
