Grant Thronton and the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) have recently released a white paper, at the 7th International Conference on Real Estate organised by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) in New Delhi. This white paper strives to map industry opinions and interpretation of the established urban governance practices in India."Future cities: The choices we make today".In a nutshell, it tries to develop some advice for smart grothw of the future magcities in India. They focus on infrastructure, real estate, green technologies, finance, planning and governance. The report states that public private partnerships (PPP) are an essential model to pursue infrastructure projects.
It is interesting to see how the big corporations are focusing on the development of the megacities of the Rapidly Developing Economies (RDE) as Boston Consulting Group calls these countries. To read more about the topic, click on:
