Honduras' public-private partnership promotion agency, Coalianza, has launched a request for expressions of interest for the El Corpus Mining industrial park PPP project.
The preferred bidder will have to design, finance, explore, exploit, operate and trade the mining resources of 200 Ha belonging to the El Corpus mining industrial park.
Interested parties submitted their proposals in early June.
El Corpus has a long history of artisanal mining and it is currently the site of at least three mines run by foreign companies, one of them being Glen Eagle Resources, a Canadian mining company.
Last month we reported that Coalianza received five bids for the "Centro Cívico Gubernamental de la República de Honduras", a government building, through a PPP project. The project will centralize Honduras' government offices. It involves the development of two spaces resulting in approximately 100,000 m² of offices.
