IDB seeks firms to build and operate wastewater system

The Islamic Development Bank (IDB) has provided financing to the National Water and Wastewater Engineering Company (NWWEC) of Iran to develop Wastewater Collection and Treatment System for Northeast Zone for 28 Villages.

The project involves the development of wastewater systems including wastewater collection network and treatment plant for 28 Villages. These villages, with total population of 56630 inhabitants, are located in 6 provinces of Khorasan Razavi, Khorasan Shomali, Khorasan Jonoobi, Golestan, Mazandaran and Semnan.

The new facilities will be developed on a design, build and operate (DBO) basis.

Interested parties must submit their pre-qualification documents on or before 19 May 2015.
