The Government of Carmona and Megawide One Mobility Corporation have signed a Joint Venture Agreement (JVA) for the development of the South Luzon Integrated Terminal Exchange (SLITx). The event was held on September 23, 2025 at the Main Ballroom of The Manila Southwoods Golf and Country Club in Carmona, Cavite.
SLITx is a transformative infrastructure PPP project designed to ease traffic congestion, improve road safety, and provide commuters with a more comfortable and dignified transport experience. Rising on a 5.3-hectare site along the South Luzon Expressway in Barangay Maduya, Carmona, the SLITx is envisioned as a modern intermodal terminal integrating city and provincial buses, passenger amenities, commercial spaces, and logistics facilities.
Congressman Roy Loyola of the 5th District of Cavite underscored the wider economic implications of this PPP project, noting that it would help Cavite, Laguna, and nearby provinces compete with Metro Manila by improving connectivity, creating jobs, and stimulating inclusive growth. He described the partnership as “a shared vision of sustainable urban development” that brings tangible benefits to local communities.
Megawide OneMobility President Jaime Raphael Feliciano outlined Megawide’s commitment to building with excellence and shared the company’s vision of making SLITx a new southern gateway. “This will be more than Carmona’s terminal. It will connect multiple destinations across Luzon and beyond,” he said, highlighting future-ready features such as smart security systems, park-and-ride options, and support for electric vehicles.
