Peter Truscott has joined Galliford Try, a British construction company headquartered in London, as its new Chief Executive succeed Greg Fitzgerald.
Peter joins the business from Taylor Wimpey plc, where he was Divisional Chairman, South and a member of the Group Management team. Peter joined George Wimpey in 1984 and worked at CALA Homes from 1993 to 1996, before re-joining Wimpey where he held a succession of senior management positions.
Commenting on Peter's arrival, Greg Fitzgerald, Executive Chairman, said:

Greg will become Non-executive Chairman from 1 January 2016 until the Annual General Meeting in November 2017 when the company's Deputy Chairman, Peter Ventress, will become Chairman.
