Preferred Bidder announced for USD2.5 billion Bridge PPP project in Nigeria

The Lagos State Government has announced the preferred bidder for the Fourth Mainland Bridge PPP project in Lagos, Nigeria.

Messrs. CCECC-CRCCIG Consortium emerged as the preferred bidder whereas Messrs. MOTA-ENGIL (NIGERIA &AFRICA), CCCC & CRBC CONSORTIUM are the reserved bidder for the project.

The US$2.5 billion Fourth Mainland Bridge aims to be the second longest in Africa which consists of 3 toll plazas, 9 interchanges, a 4.5 km Lagoon Bridge and an eco-friendly environment.

The freeway project spans 37.4 km and is separated into three sections: the Island Section, the Lagoon Section, and the Mainland Section. The route will start at the Abraham Adesanya Roundabout in Lekki, pass through the neighbourhoods of Ajah and Langbasa, cross the Ado Badore Road, and end at the Lagoon's beachfront.
