There is huge problem when talking about infrastructure financing in India. All the PPP projects being currently developed need a debt amount that should be a long term obligation. But in India, commercial banks are not actually lending money with long tenors. There is a lot of talk about infrastructure bonds and government's involvement in facilitating long term debt.Multilateral banks as the Asian Development Bank (ADB) and the World Bank's institution the International Finance Corporation are being of great help to structure all these PPP projects.
