PPPs in Argentina: Risky Business?


The report explores Argentina’s plan to re-energize its infrastructure with public-private partnerships (PPPs).
According to the Argentine government, PPPs represent a win-win arrangement: They will allow for the completion of long-needed infrastructure upgrades, thanks to the help of private investors. But many are still wary of the risks, such as the current economic instability and its potential to weaken domestic and foreign investor interest – which ultimately could lead to project delays.
