ADB launches tender for advisory services for elderly care PPP in China

The Asian Development Bank (ADB) has launched a tender for interested firms to deliver consultancy services for the development of an elderly care PPPs in China. 

The project involves the demonstration to transform the delivery service of Elderly Care Services in Yichang, Hubei, under the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) scheme. 

Under the terms of the contract, the selected firm will play an important role in the formulation of PPP bidding documents and PPP contract, and supporting the Yichang Municipal Government in conducting a fair and transparent bidding process, developing service standards that follow international best practice, providing for social inclusiveness, and advising the client on all aspects of the PPP procurement through to execution of the concession agreement.

The objectives of the consulting firm responsible for PPP transaction advice are to (i) ensure a smooth and timely procurement of the PPP concession in a form that complies with agreements reached between YMG and ADB; and (ii) enhance the knowledge and capacity of YMG in the design and procurement of elderly care PPP concession contracts. 

The deadline for the submission of documents to participate in the tender is on June 19, 2019.
