AENA to manage 11 airports in Brazil

Aena, through its subsidiary Aena Desarrollo Internacional, has been awarded the management of 11 airports in Brazil, located in four states, including São Paulo, Mato Grosso do Sul, Minas Gerais and Pará.

The total amount of the operation amounts to circa BRL4.089 billion (US$790.7 million), with planned investments of BRL5 billion (US$966.9 million). The concession period is 30 years, with a possibility of extension for 5 years. The signing of the concession contract is planned for February 2023.

The list of the airports under concession is the following: 

  1. Congonhas Airport – São Paulo/SP
  2. Campo Grande Airport – Campo Grande/MS
  3. Ten. Cel. Aviador César Bombonato Airport – Uberlândia/MG
  4. Maestro Wilson Fonseca Airport – Santarém/PA
  5. João Corrêa da Rocha Airport – Marabá/PA
  6. Mário Ribeiro Airport – Montes Claros/MG
  7. Carajás Airport – Parauapebas/PA
  8. Altamira Airport – Altamira/PA
  9. Mario de Almeida Franco Airport – Uberaba/MG
  10. Corumbá Airport – Corumbá/MS
  11. Ponta Porã International Airport – Ponta Porã/MS
