The Community Infrastructure Fund (CommIF), managed by AMP Capital, has acquired a stake in Westadium. Westadium is a consortium which was awarded a 25-year concession of Optus Stadium in Perth.

CommIF acquired the interest from John Liang, which was investor and manager of the Perth stadium project. The value of the stadium is about EUR 936 million (US$ 1,059.83 million). The government supported 60% of the capital cost of the stadium and no longer has a financial interest in the project.

Optus stadium was completed last year with facilities include a range of entertainment and sporting events, including cricket, rugby union, rugby league, AFL, soccer and concerts.
