Arcus Infrastructure Partners LLP (Arcus) has announced that Arcus European Infrastructure Fund 3 SCSp (AEIF3) has agreed to acquire SDC SpaceNet DataCenter GmbH & Co, KG (SDC), Europe’s modern data centers, from SpaceNet AG in London, UK.

The SDC SpaceNet DataCenter owns a high specification which has been built to an extremely resilient design and is certified to the EN50600 VK4 standard.
SDC leads the market in energy efficiency as 100% of energy comes from renewable sources. The purchase of SDC is part of a regional edge co-location platform Arcus' strategy focused on serving tier two German cities and selected adjacent European countries. 

The deal is expected to close in Q1 of 2023. Noerr acted as legal advisor to Arcus, Arup as technical advisor, BDO as financial and tax advisor, and AON as an insurance advisor. Poellath acted as legal advisor to SpaceNet.
