Brazil launches tender for Sanitation PPP in Teresópolis

The Municipality of Teresópolis in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil has launched a tender notice seeking a private partner for the concession of water supply and sewage in the municipality.

The private partner will be responsible for the development of a sewage pipeline network with an absolute separator and dry weather, 4 treatment stations, 9 pumping stations, and 11 biodigesters. The network will have a total length of 367 kilometers. The estimated investment for the project is BRL476.95 million (US$90.95 million).
