Brazil signs concession for street light PPP in Sapucaia do Sul

The municipality of Sapucaia do Sul in Brazil has signed the PPP contract for the Public Lighting services with consortium Ilumina Sapucaia do Sul, with an offer of maximum monthly consideration of BRL 213,026 (US$ 36,939.4). The consortium is formed by the companies Tecnoluz Eletricidade and Brasil Luz Eletrificação e Eletrônica. 

The consortium will develop, modernize, expand, operate and maintain the municipal public lighting network during a contractual term of 13 years. The project scope involves use of LED lamps and remote management devices in public lighting points, with the aim to promote the reduction of energy consumption and improve the quality of services and the use of urban spaces by the local population.
