Colombia advances studies and designs analysis for construction of Pasto-Popayán road corridor PPP project

The Colombian National Infrastructure Agency (ANI) has advanced the analysis of the studies and designs for the construction of the second lane of the Pasto-Popayán corridor PPP project in Colombia.

The project involves the development of a 270 km long road that connects Pasto and Popayán and also includes the studies and designs for the construction of 161 km of the second lane, 67.1 km of the double lane, 20.8 km of single lane, and 178 km of improvement and 101 km of rehabilitation, along with the operation and maintenance of all corridors.

The second carriageway of the western variation of Popayán (14.6 km), the double carriageway of the eastern variant of Chachagü (5.1 km), and the updating and complementing of INVIAS's studies and plans for the Timbo-El Estanquillo (62 km) variant are all included in the project's purview.

The studies which have a value of COP6,343 million (US$1.46 million) are carried out by the CONSORTIUM AC 5G.
