International Campus (IC) has started construction of a student residence building as part of the new Ludwigs-Quartier in Ludwigshafen, Germany.

The construction work comprises:

• around 77,400 sq m of gross floor area having 337 flats with 135 car and 380 bicycle parking spaces.
• spacious communal areas such as a gaming area, study rooms, communal kitchens and a roof terrace with a view of the banks of the Rhine.
• the student residence building on the corner of Halbergstraße and Rheinallee with around 14,000 sq m of gross floor area that is expected to be LEED certified (Gold).

Opening of the student housing is scheduled in the Q1 of 2025.
